Joseph Flannery, Kyle Lancaster and Ryan Fitzhenry make up The American Bison Film Project. Their first documentary film, The Last Heard, take us through the Henry Mountains. The bison herd there roams over 385,000 acres of Southern Utah –free from fences, culling, or roundups. Despite all this space, Henry Mountains bison are caught within a complex web of public land, ranching, and government agencies. The Last Herd documents the balance between free-roaming bison and private interests.
